2018 - 2024

Tour and Events Manager

Kendal Mountain Events 

In my role I developed and coordinated the UK Tour, international and peripheral events run by Kendal Mountain Events, including; developing a calendar of events, overseeing programming and coordinating production at the event. I work closely with the venues, brand partners, filmmakers and internal teams to manage event requirements and delivery.​​

● Managing the budget set by the CEO, ensuring all initiatives operate within budget and where relevant deliver a return on investment. ● Using MONDAY as the platform to project manage the Tours and create venue, talent and filmmaker databases. Including creating and managing a rota for the presenting and support staff for the Tours. ● Working with the relevant programming manager to curate the content of films and speakers for each event. ● Gaining appropriate permissions from filmmakers and making sure contracts are signed and in place. Which also includes the brokering and delivery of film to any ‘film only’ events in and outside the UK. ● Prior to the events liaising with the talent, brand partners and venues to confirm the requirements in advance, including their contractual agreements, technical requests, transportation, accommodation, special guests and promotional material. ● Working closely with the marketing and design teams to promote and publicise the event through all our channels including our social media platforms during the events. ● Working with the Festival Director to produce the Brand Proposal documents for all of the external events and Tours, each having a bespoke offering. ● After each Tour working with the marketing and design teams to produce a review document to send to the relevant brands which includes images, audience feedback and statistics to show our audience numbers at the events as well and the reach through our social media and database platforms. ● Working closely with the venue technical teams to provide the content for the shows in a format that works for them. ● On the day of the event, organising and managing the event’s delivery, liaising with tech teams, talent, venue managers, volunteers, brand partners and other suppliers, to ensure the smooth running of the event. ● Ensuring event delivery is compliant with insurance, legal, and health & safety obligations. ● Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day. ● Deal with any customer issues or complaints, as well as any issues that arise with our talent or the venues that we work with.

2020 - 2024

Production Manager

Kendal Mountain Festival 

As Production Manager, I coordinated all aspects of an event's delivery at the Festival. This involved liaising with the technical teams and live event Directors both before and during the events, coordinating production and floor managing on-site, and working closely with programming teams to confirm event requirements in advance. Additionally, I was responsible for organising and overseeing both studio and on-location film sessions, managing the logistics, crew, and talent to ensure smooth execution and high-quality production.

• Creating running orders and circulating them to operations teams via Google Drive or email. • Collating the digital media integral to the event programme and providing it to the technical team. • Briefing technical and event directors on running order and any specific requirements prior to the event. • Working closely with the staff and volunteers at the events or film sessions. • Being aware of brand associations and what they might require, in regards to brand visibility, guest seats, green rooms, social media requests. • Overseeing the venue/stage dressing and setup prior to the event. • Researching locations for outdoor filming and organising the filming team and talent for scheduled sessions, ensuring all logistics, permits, and equipment are in place to meet production deadlines. • Meeting and greeting the talent at the event or film session, making sure they have everything they need and are fully prepped before going live.

2012 - 2019

Box Office Manager

Brewery Arts

After joining the team as the Senior Box Office Assistant in 2011 I was promoted to Box Office Manager in 2012.​​

● Managing the team of eight, creating rotas, interviewing and training staff. Dealing with any HR issues related to the team. ● Developing the knowledge base of the Spektrix system to provide more sales opportunities, including upselling, deals and offers. ● Providing the Senior Management team with reports they needed for the Arts Council and for potential funding streams. Marketing information and customer database analysis. ● Processing any customer issues or complaints. ● Working with the programming departments to make sure the events were uploaded on the system correctly ready for the marketing team to go live on the website. ● Uploading events, maintaining the customer database and supporting the sales assistants with general enquiries and technical questions. ● Responsible for cashing up at the beginning and start of the day and sending relevant financial reports to the finance department. ● Working with the technical team and front of house on event nights to make sure the artists were welcomed and the team was fully briefed on the run of the events that day/evening. ● Working closely with the many Festivals that were based at the Brewery Arts, including Kendal Mountain Festival and Comic Art Festival to provide their ticketing and customer service prior to and over the Festival weekends. Along with providing database analysis reports specifically for each festival after the event. ​
